What a Tankless Installation Involves

Replacing a tank with an on-demand heater changes more than the appliance. The unit mounts on a wall rather than standing on the floor, it needs a gas line sized for its full firing rate or an electrical service that can carry it, and it vents differently from the tank it replaces. Planning those pieces up front is what separates a clean install from one that struggles on the first cold morning.
