Very satisfied with the work Brock Plumbing did replacing our water heater. Responded to the online request within 20-25 min of me submitting it. Really friendly setup an appointment for an estimate that day. The window she gave was long, but they came at the top of the time frame. They came to the house in total compliance with COVID rules. Looked the situation over quickly (the problem was obvious) gave me the best quote I got ALL day. It included the new water heater, not just the labor. Once we were ready they gave me an appointment for the next day...yay! They gave me another wide window of time, but again they came in the earlier part of the time frame. Actually they were early. Did the job in the quoted time frame installed the correct water heater (for a manufactured home), a BETTER water heater. The cost was what they quoted the day of the estimate NO surprises, the only extra cost was for hauling away the water heater so ask at the estimate if you need that, it's not much at all. Called and set up a service call with Bernie for the next morning. Brock Pluming showed up right at 9AM (call time 9 to 11 AM) - We needed our tankless water heater flushed and water pressure valve checked. Service tech Michael was professional, super knowledgeable and a great guy !!! Flush went fine and took the time that he told me it would take. Michael showed me that our water pressure valve had gone bad and said it needed to be replaced. He had to go get the part as it was not on his truck. Michael returned in about 20 minutes, replaced the valve and set the proper pressure for the house. I highly recommend Brock Pluming and specifically Michael for any and all plumbing needs !!!! My water heater died. It is the day before Thanksgiving. I know there is one plumber I can count on for honest, quality service, here in Palmdale. The plumber came at 12:45 p.m.. By 4:45, he was done installing a new water heater, and had cleaned up after himself, and instructed me on its use. I have used Brock Plumbing before, and will never go anywhere else, neither should you.
It's a family owned business. His price was very fair and the service was good and prompt. Actually showed up on time and he was in and out. He fixed the stopper on the bathtub and the fireplace. I will use him again and I passed his card onto the property manager.

Freestanding tubs and fixtures that need new rough-in are possible as well. They simply involve more work in the wall or floor, and sometimes a permit.
Replacing a Fixture Versus Adding a New One
Swapping a fixture where one already exists is the simpler job. The supply and drain are in place, so the work is mostly about fit: matching the drain position, the valve height and the mounting. Even so, we replace tired angle stops and brittle supply lines while we’re there, because a new fixture sitting on a seized valve is a service call waiting to happen.
Adding a fixture where there wasn’t one means running new supply lines and often a new drain with a proper vent. A utility tub in the garage, a pot filler behind the range or a hose bibb on a side of the house that never had one all land in this category. Bathtub Installation Up Close
A tub swap is the biggest job on this page, and most of the work is out of sight. The old drain and overflow usually come out with the old tub, so we fit a new assembly, set the tub level on a proper base, and line the drain up with the trap below before anything is fixed in place. Alcove tubs need the flange tucked behind the wall board so water can’t track behind it. The tub valve stays unless it’s worn or the new spout won’t reach, in which case we’ll tell you before the wall is opened. Tile and surround work follows ours, and the tub is filled and drained before anyone closes it in.
What to Have Ready Before We Arrive
If you’re buying the fixture yourself, keep the box and the installation sheet. Tubs, pot fillers and bidet seats all come with specific rough-in dimensions, and checking them against your space before install day saves a second trip. Measure the opening for a tub, and find the nearest outlet if you’ve picked a powered bidet seat.

Testing and Handover
Every new fixture gets run before we pack up. We fill and drain tubs to check the overflow and the drain seal, open hose bibbs fully and check the vacuum breaker, run pot fillers at both valves, and look under every connection with the water on. If something weeps, it gets fixed then, not on a callback. You’ll also know where each new shutoff is, which matters the day a washer or supply line lets go.

Yes. Keep the box and the installation sheet, and check the rough-in dimensions against your space. If something doesn’t match, it’s easier to exchange it before install day.
Older angle stops often seize or weep once they’re turned. Replacing them during the install costs little and means the new fixture can actually be shut off when it needs service.
On an exterior wall that sees freezing nights, a frost-resistant bibb keeps the valve seat inside the warm part of the wall. It’s a sensible upgrade when an old one starts leaking.
A tee on the toilet’s cold supply, a new supply line to the seat and, for powered models, an outlet within reach of the cord. We’ll check the outlet location before you buy.
Usually, if there’s a way to run a cold line to the wall behind the range. It means opening the wall, so it’s easiest during a backsplash change.
